Mushfiqur Rahim was caught everyone's eyes with his celebration after reaching his third Test double century with dinosaur expression. After he cut Sikandar Raza's delivery through point for four, he let out a roar to celebrate and did the expression with his hands.
In the post-match press conference, Mushfiqur explained that his celebration was dedicated to his son, Shahroj Mayan, who loved dinosaurs.
"My son is a big fan of dinosaurs. So whenever he sees a dinosaur, he does an expression like this. I just tried to imitate it. My double century is dedicated to him," Mushfiq said.
Mushfiq also added that this double century was the easiest among his three because the wicket was very good to bat on.
"This wicket was the easiest for batting. They did not have any threat bowler or someone who swung or reverse swung the ball. This felt easier to do than my previous two," the 32-year old said.
Mushfiq was also asked about his century celebration. In reply, the veteran batsman said that it was not dedicated to anyone and added that he never celebrated for revenge or protest.
"That was not dedicated to anyone. I have never done such outrageous celebrations. In my short career, I have never celebrated for revenge or protest. I always think that I fight with myself and will continue to do so," Mushfiq said.
