Nazrul exponent Sudhin Das no more

Staff Correspondent: Prominent Nazrul exponent Sudhin Das passed away at a hospital in Dhaka on Tuesday night. He was 87.

The singer breathed his last at Apollo Hospitals Ltd around 8:20pm, said family sources.

He left behind his wife singer Nilima Das and only daughter.

Sudhin Das was taken to a private clinic at Kalyanpur on Tuesday morning after he caught fever and vomited. He was later admitted to the Apollo Hospitals.

The body will be kept at the Central Shaheed Minar at 11:00am and at Nazrul Institute at 10:00am today (Wednesday)  so that people from all walks of life can pay their last respects to the Sudhin Das.

His body will be cremated at Postogola, the family sources said.
