No woman for marriage registry, HC upholds govt decision

The High Court (HC) has upheld the government decision that denied to allow any woman for marriage registry considering social and actual situation of Bangladesh.

The bench of Justice Zubayer Rahman Chowdhury and Justice Kazi Zinat Hoque passed the order on Wednesday, after rejecting writ petition filed a woman of Dinajpur.

Advocate Md Humayun Kabir moved for the petitioner in the court.
