Panasonic intends to work with Walton as partner in future

 

A high-level delegation of Panasonic Corporation of Japan, visited Walton’s factory in Gazipur on Thursday.

The three-member delegation headed by Manabu Onishi, Managing Director of Panasonic Appliances Refrigeration Devices (Singapore and Malaysia), visited different manufacturing, quality control, research and development sections of refrigerators, freezers, air-conditioners and motorcycles at Walton factory at Chandra in Gazipur.

Other members of the delegation were Sui Wei San and Jonathan Goh CK.

SM Shamsul Alam, Managing Director of R.B. Group received the guests in the factory complex. SM Ashraful Alam, Managing Director of Walton Hi-Tech Industries Limited, took the delegation members to different sections of Walton’s refrigerators, freezers, air-conditioners and motorcycles manufacturing units.

He also briefed them about manufacturing, quality control, packaging and delivery processes at different sections.

After visiting the sections of Walton’s refrigerator, air-conditioner and motorcycle manufacturing units, Manabu Onishi said, `I am really surprised and overwhelmed witnessing both manufacturing and quality control processes at the Walton factory”.

Onishi said Panasonic has a technical relation with Walton. Under this relation, Panasonic has been providing training to Walton’s engineers and technicians. Panasonic’s cooperation to Walton will continue in the future, he added.
