'Plots on to create instability in country'

Staff Correspondent, Mymensingh: Road Transport and Bridges Minister, also general secretary of the ruling Awami League, Obaidul Quader said a vested quarter is hatching conspiracies to fish in the troubled water by creating instability in the country.

He also urged people and Awami League men to remain alert and united against the conspiracies.

The minister told this to reporters after inaugurating a foot over bridge adjacent to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital on the Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway on Friday.

The AL general secretary said the member collection campaign is underway in the party and all concerned of the organisation will have to remain vigilant so that any leader and worker of Jamaat-Shibir cannot enter the Awami League.

Religious Affairs Minister Principal Motiur Rahman among local Awami League and its front organisations activists and leaders were present on the occasion.
