Private car plunges into ditch, one killed

Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: At least one person was killed and two other injured as a private car plunged into a ditch in the district on Monday morning.

The accident took place in Surabari area of Gazipur City Corporation.

The deceased was identified as Arafat, a garage employee and son of Abdur Rob in Munnunagar area of Tongi.

According to sources, three employees of a garage came out with a private car after repairing it. The private car plunged into a road side ditch as the driver lost control over it, leaving three injured. They were taken to a local hospital in Jamgara where the doctors declared Arafat dead.
