Sakal confesses involvement in Abrar murder

Ifti Mosharraf Sakal, one of the key accused of Abrar Fahad murder case, has given confessional statement in the court admitting his role in the killing.

Sakal was produced at the Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate court where Judge Sadbir Yeasir Ahsan Chowdhury recorded his statement. Later, he was sent to the jail.

Chawkbazar police station Sub-inspector Mazharul Islam confirmed the matter.

Earlier on October 8, a Dhaka court granted a five-day remand for each of the 10 accused in Abrar murder case.
