Soroj Mehedi made Global Youth Ambassador of Theirworld

University teacher and researcher Soroj Mehedi (Md Mahady Hasan) has been elected Global Youth Ambassador of Theirworld.

Founded by former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Theirworld is a UK based world's largest education charity organization committed to ending the global education crisis.

According to a letter issued by the Grants and Finance Director of Theirworld Konrad Caulkett, Mehedi will work for the post for next two consecutive years.

Soroj Mehedi, a former Turkey Government scholarship holder has been graduated in Journalism from Istanbul University in 2018.

Then he came back to country and joined Gono University as a lecturer of the dept. of Language, Communication and Culture.

Earlier, he started his career as a journalist with Dhaka based Daily Jugantor as a staff reporter. In 2014, he left professional journalism but still active as a freelancer.

Soroj Mehedi has one journal and five Conference publications. He joined some international programs with scholarship in different countries, including Germany (2017), Belgium (2017), Hungary (2016), Austria (2016) Turkey (2014-2018), Ukraine (2017), Malaysia (2018), India (2018), etc., and visited some other ones. He has a huge number of audiences as a young writer in Bangladesh.
