TV Trump different from real Trump, says Putin

International Desk: Russian President Vladimir Putin said Trump on television very much differs from the person in reality.

He said, "As I see it, Television Trump may not bear much similarity to the Trump in reality. He is absolutely concrete, absolutely adequately perceives the interlocutor, quite quickly analyses, answers questions or draws from the discussions some new elements."

Putin came up with the observation in a press conference on Saturday, after the first ever face-to-face meeting to be held on Friday between the two leaders on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Hamburg.

The Russian president also stated over the meeting, "As regards personal relations, I think they are established between us. If we can build our new relationship in the spirit of our first conversation, then we will have every reason to expect that we will at least in part be able to restore the level of cooperation that we need."

Putin also cleared his stance against his alleged involvement in interfering in US election. He said, "He (Trump) asked many questions on the subject, I tried to answer them all. It seemed to me that he was satisfied with the answers."
