The individual Test rankings of Bangladeshi cricketers, including Mushfiqur Rahim, Mominul Haque, Nayeem Hasan, Abu Jayed Rahi and Najmul Hossain Shanta, moved up after the Tiger’s emphatic an innings and 106 runs victory in the one-off Test against Zimbabwe at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.

As per the fresh ICC Test rankings published on Wednesday, promising spinner Nayeem Hasan, who grabbed nine wickets (four in the first innings and five in the 2nd innings) in the lone Test against Zimbabwe, made a big jump of 29 steps ahead and advanced to the 38th place in bowling with his career best 410 points.

Pacer Abu Jayed Rahi moved to 46th place advancing 11 steps with career best rating points of 331.

Former national skipper Mushfiqur Rahim, who scored his 3rd double century (not out 203) against Zimbabwe and emerged as the country’s highest scorer in Test cricket, jumped five steps ahead in Test rankings along with Bangladesh Test captain Mominul Haque who also hit a century (132).  
Mushfiqur Rahim advanced to the 20th slot from 25th with rating points of 655 while Mominul Haque moved up to 39th place from 44th with rating points of 556.

Promising batsman Najmul Hossain Shanta, who made his first Test half century scoring 71 runs in the last Test, moved up 11 steps ahead to settle for 104th place with his career best rating points of 288.

In the Test batting ranking, Tamim Iqbal is in the 27th slot with 598 rating points, Mahmudullah Riyad in the 49th place with 514 points, Liton Das in the 70th slot with 450 points and Imrul Kayes in the 95th place with 334 points.      

In the Test bowling ranking, spinner Taijul Islam is in the 24th place with 585 points, another spinner Mehedi Hasan Miraj in the 25th slot with 570 points, cutter master Mustafizur Rahman in the 58th place with 282 points, Mahmudullah Riyad in the 68th slot with 217 points, pacer Rubel Hossain in the 85th place with 129 points while Al Amin Hossain in the 81st place with 98 points.
