That Ahad Ali gets wheelchair after risingbd reports

Elderly man Ahad Ali has received a wheelchair after country’s popular online news portal published a report over misery of his life.

Abdur Rashid, deputy assistant engineer of Sherpur in Bogra, came up with the wheelchair for Ahad Ali after he noticed the report published on risingbd.

The wheelchair was handed over to Ahad Ali on Tuesday noon.

Abdur Rashid said, “I noticed the news on risingbd that touched my heart. Then, I decided to give him a wheelchair.”

He thanked risingbd to publish report in this regard.

Ahad Ali said, “I’m now very happy. I pray for you to the God.”

Ahad Ali, 65, a resident of Nowpara village in Hili of Dinajpur. His wife used to work a different houses as maid. The couple have three daughters and a son. Ahad Ali cannot stand straight, but move on hands. He lives on begging alms from people.
