Three killed in Mymensingh road crash

Staff Correspondent, Mymensingh: At least three people were killed and 40 others injured in a road accident on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway on Monday night.

Sources said that a Dhaka-bound bus collided with a lorry in front of Janapath Banglo of Bhaluka Sadar around 8:00pm, leaving a person dead on the spot and injured 42 others.

Later, the injured were sent to Upazila Health Complex and Mymensingh Medical Hospital where two others died under treatment.

Bhaluka police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdullah Al Mamun confirmed the matter to risingbd.com.
