Trade thru Bhomra land port resumes

Satkhira Correspondent: Export and import activities resumed on Sunday at Bhomra land port in Satkhira district after a nine-day vacation on the occasion of Eid-ul-fitr.

Mostafizur Rahman Nasim, general secretary of Bhomra Land Port's Clearing and Forwarding (C & F) Agent Association, said the activities resumed in the morning on the first day after vacation.

Abdul Kaium, assistant commissioner of Bhomra land port customs house said that although all export-import activities were shut but passport passengers moved through the port during the vacation.
