Two minors drown in Bagerhat

Bagerhat Correspondent: Two minor cousins drowned in a pond at Attaki village in Fakirhat upazila of Bagerhat district on Saturday noon.

The deceased were identified as Nusrat, 3, daughter of Ilias Hossain and Rubaiyat, 4, daughter of Rubel Sheikh.

Sources said that the accident took place while the kids were playing near a pond at one stage they fell down into it and drowned.

Later, the locals rescued them and sent to Fakirhat upazila health complex where duty doctor declared them dead.
