World cup football: first match to be held on Nov 21

The 22th football world cup will be held in Qatar. Fifa announced today announced the first match of World Cup, to be held on November 21.

The final will be held at the 80,000-seat Lusail Stadium in Doha nearly a month later on December 18. The tournament popularly known as greatest show on earth will be held in eight stadiums of Qatar’s five towns.

Group matches will kick off at three-hour intervals, beginning at 1.00pm local time (1000 GMT), with the late match kicking off at 10:00pm local time. However, the organizers didn’t disclose about the tickets.

Earlier, France won World Cup 2018 final in breathless six-goal thriller against Croatia.
