ACC summons health DG, 3 others

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has summoned four people including the ex-director general of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Dr Md. Aminul Hasan over the Regent Hospital’s fake coronavirus certificate scam.

They were asked to appear before an ACC interrogation team on August 12, ACC public relation officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya confirmed today.

The other accused are- Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Deputy Director Md Yunus Ali, Dr Md Shafiur Rahman and Research officer Dr Md Didarul Islam.

Besides, former DG Dr Abul Kalam Azad was also asked to appear before ACC on August 13 in the same case.

According to the notice, speeches of the accused are needed to continue the ongoing investigation into the irregularities of Regent Hospital Chairman Shahed. So, they were asked to appear before the watchdog in time.
