Hili land port to remain closed for 6 days

Hili land port in Dinajpur will remain closed for six days from July 30 on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, the second largest religious festival of Muslims.
Export-import activities between Bangladesh and India through the land port will remain suspended during that time.
Harun-or-Rashid, president of Hili land port export import group, said trade activities will remain suspended from July 30 to August 4 as Eid-ul-Azha is scheduled to be celebrated on August 1.
The authorities concerned of the port, export-import groups and C&F Agents association took the decision after a joint meeting in this regard.
The land port will reopen on August 5.
