DSE lost Tk 13,000 crore in February

In February this year, the country's main stock market, Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) continued trade for 19 working days.
Out of these 19 working days, 12 days witnessed dull trend in prices. Other working days were seen on the rise.
As a result, DSE lost more than Tk 13,000 crore in its market capitalization in the last month.
DSE sources said this on Tuesday (March 2).
According to the data, on the last working day of January this year, the DSE market capitalization was 4 lakh 79 thousand 28 crore 64 lakh 75 thousand taka.
On the last working day of February, the market capitalization stood at 4 lakh 65 thousand 736 crore 60 lakh 89 thousand taka. Investors lost Tk 13,292.386 crore in February.
