BSCIC to provide Tk50cr loan to entrepreneurs 

Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) is going to distribute Tk50 crore as incentive loans to cottage, micro, small and medium enterprise entrepreneurs affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

In a press release, the organization confirmed it on Monday (April 5).

Under the scheme, an entrepreneur can get Tk10 lakh cash as loan without any surety. The loan amount would go to highest Tk20 lakh.

Ten percent loan has been allotted for women entrepreneurs in the incentive package. The highest interest will be four percent at the customer level. Entrepreneurs will be able to repay the loan within two years in 18 installments.

BSCIC Chairman Md Mushtaq Hasan has already directed all local and district level offices to distribute the loan by June 30.
