Largest halal supermarket launched in Massachusetts

A largest halal supermarket of internationally has been inaugurated by the Bangladeshi traders in Lowell city of Massachusetts in the United States.

Lowell City Mayor John Leahy inaugurated the Foodland Halal Supermarket at 9 am on Saturday (April 10).

Lowel City Mayor congratulated the introduction of this halal supermarket of several Bangladeshi businessmen in Massachusetts expatriates.

After the inauguration of the Foodland Supermarket, the mayor John Leahy told the Bangladeshi businessmen, that I welcome your great purpose.

He expressed hope that the supermarket will meet the needs of the residents of this city, including the halal meat in this supermarket.

He said, if there is any problem in managing business, I will always be beside to you. Later, the mayor read the citation on behalf of his city.

One of the owner of Foodland market Humayum Morshed and Director of Medford Islamic Cultural Center Nichole Mosalam's joint performance with spoke among others are Foodland Supermarket Landlord (land owner) James, Contractor Paul, Bangladeshi House of Representative of New Hampshire  Abul Khan, Bangladesh Association of New England (Bane) President Asif Babu, prominent businessman Syed Nuruzzaman and businessman Alauddin Choudhury. Tapas Barua, Humayun Morshed and Alauddin Chowdhury greeted with Mayors, Landlords and Contractors.

After the inauguration of the Foodland Halal supermarket, a large number of local and foreign customers crowds were seen. The supermarket will be able to meet the demand for supply of halal food supply of local Muslim buyers, including expatriate Bangladeshis living in several cities living in Loel and neighboring cities.

After the inauguration, a Bangladeshi buyer who came to market said that the number of expatriate Bangladeshis in Lowell city is very low. A large number of Bangladeshi lived in Boston's neighborhoods. At about 30/40 minutes from those areas, it can be easily carried out in the market.

He also said that it will be possible to meet the needs of New England and Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Maine's Muslim buyers. But many people will not usually come to market by car or two hours. It is sure they sometimes will come to market. However, in the city of Lowell, thousands of domestic Muslims live in the city of Lowell, if these buyers come to market regularly here, the market will remain active.
