Trading in stock market will continue till 12.30pm

In line with the banking activities, Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has increased time of transaction in the stock market by another 30 minutes to 12.30pm.

This decision will be effective on Monday (April 12) and Tuesday (April 13).

As a result of the new decision, trading in the Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchanges will continue till 12.30pm. BSEC announced the decision on Sunday (April 11). This was later confirmed by both the stock exchanges.

According to sources, the transaction period of the banks has been extended by Bangladesh Bank for another half hour. As a result, banking activities will run from 10 am to 1.00 pm on April 12 and April 13. In coordination with the decision of Bangladesh Bank, the trading time in both the stock markets of the country has been extended by another half hour. As a result, transaction will continue on these two days from 10 am to 12.30pm in the two stock markets of the country.
