Branches of financial institutions to remain open till 2 pm

The central bank has issued new directives to keep two branches of financial institutions open till 2:00 pm in compliance with health guidelines to provide emergency financial services to the clients.

The directives have been issued with the aim of providing emergency financial services to the clients on maturity, including depositing fixed deposits and depositing loan installments.

The Financial Institutions and Markets Division of the Central Bank issued the directives on Wednesday (April 21) which have already sent to the CEOs of all financial institutions.
