Bank officials asked not to leave workstations during Eid holiday

Bank officials have been asked not to leave workstations during the Eid holidays.

The Department of Off-site Supervision of Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued directives in this regard on Wednesday (May 5).

According to the directives, the officials and employees of banks must stay at their respective workplaces during the Eid holidays. To curb the spread of coronavirus infection, the Cabinet Division has issued a circular extending the ongoing restrictions from May 6 to midnight on May 16.
