Rawhide price for sacrificial animals fixed

The government has announced the prices for rawhides of different sacrificial animals ahead of Eid-ul-Azha which is likely to be celebrated on July 21.
According to the government decision, prices of rawhides of different sacrificial animals have been increased by Tk two per square foot from the previous year.
Commerce Ministry Tipu Munshi announced the prices after a meeting held at the Commerce Ministry on Thursday with him in the chair.
The prices of raw cowhide have been fixed at Tk 40-45 per square foot for the capital while at Tk 33- 35 for outside Dhaka.
Besides, the prices of goatskins have been fixed at Tk 15- 17 per square foot across the country while that of she-goat at Tk 13-15.
