BB sets new transaction timing for banks

Banks will open on a limited scale from Sunday (July 25) to facilitate the financial transaction for their clients during the 14-day strict lockdown.

The central bank issued a notification in this regard on Sunday (July 24).

According to the notification, all banks will operate on a limited scale between July 25 and August 5 -- from 10am to 1:30pm, instead of the usual 10am-4pm timing, maintaining all Coronavirus-safety protocols.

Banks can remain open till 3:00pm to conduct their own activities, post-customer hours, said the directions.
