Market capitalization rises to Tk 15,000 crore

Shares and unit prices of most companies increased in the stock market last week. During the period under review, the market capitalization increased to Tk 15,875.20 crore.

This information was revealed in the weekly review on Saturday (June 4).

It is learned that at the beginning of last week, the market capitalization on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) was 5 lakh 8 thousand 2 crore 50 lakh 90 thousand taka. On the last day of the week, the market capitalization stood at 5 lakh 20 thousand 277 crore 20 lakh 59 thousand 628 taka. The market capitalization has increased by 12 thousand 274 crore 69 lakh 69 thousand taka during the week.

At the beginning of last week, the market capitalization of the Chattogram Stock Exchange (CSE) was 4 lakh 46 thousand 406 crore 15 lakh taka. And on the last day of the week, the market capital stood at 4 lakh 50 thousand 6 crore 66 lakh taka. The market capitalization increased by Tk 3,600.51 crore during the week.
