Dollar price rises to Tk92.90

Bangladesh Bank on Tuesday (June 21) once again devalued taka against US dollar, raising the exchange value of the dollar by 10 paisa to Tk 92.90 a dollar.

The exchange value of a dollar against taka was Tk 92.80 on Monday.

The value of dollar has been increased by ten times in last two months while taka has been depreciated against the US dollar by Tk 6.70 during the period.

Earlier on May 29, the central bank fixed dollar price at Tk 89.
