Bangladesh receives 74 crore US dollar remittance in 15 days

Bangladesh received US dollar of 73 crore 99 lakh and 80 thousand inward remittance in the first 15 days of September, the third month of the 2023-2024 fiscal year.

The latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) revealed the information on Sunday (September 17).

According to the data, in these 15 days of September, the country received remittance of 6 crore 64 lakh US dollar through state-owned banks, 1 crore 98 lakh 80 thousand US dollar through a specialized bank, 65 crore 7 lakh and 10 thousand US dollar through private banks, and 29 lakh 90 thousand through foreign banks.
