‘Cholo Swpno Chui’ gets DYC Int’l Bravery Award

‘Cholo Swpno Chui’, a voluntary organisation, was awarded the ‘DYC International Bravery Award’ on September 25 (Friday).
The award was conferred to the organisation at the National River Youth Conference-2020 organized by ‘Dhaka Youth Club International’ at Sadarghat 2nd Terminal Auditorium in Dhaka on Friday.
The organization has been awarded for their outstanding activities during the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.
Founded by Muntasim Abshad Jisan, a first-year student of Environmental Science Discipline at Khulna University, Cholo Swpno Chui has been fighting against the pandemic since the beginning in March this year. They have provided disinfectant sprays, safety markings, masks, hand washes, sanitary napkins, relief aids and other supports to pandemic-hit people.
Jisan, also the President of the organisation, said, ‘With the direct and indirect participation of all the members of the organisation, we have been able to stand by the people during this tough time of the poor sections of the people in the country.'
