Walton wins Superbrands award

Country’s leading electronics brand Walton has won the Superbrands Award 2020-2021.

London based organization Superbrands awarded the Bangladeshi electronics and tech giant Walton. Names of the awardees were announced via a virtual program on Thursday evening (November 19).

Salman Fazlur Rahman, Private Sector Industry and Investment Adviser to Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was the chief guest in the program.

The Superbrands organization publishes surveys related to brands. Since 1994, the company has been working on branding in 90 countries across the globe. Superbrands is now recognized as the most prominent success symbol for brands.

Bangladesh’s Superbrands for 2020-2021 have been selected through a rigorous process involving independent and voluntary panels of experts from a range of backgrounds, known as the Brand Council. A total of 40 Bangladeshi companies have been nominated for this award.

Earlier, Bangladesh Brand Forum General Manager and Executive Editor Sajid Mahbub handed over the award to Walton on behalf of Superbrands. Engineer Golam Murshed, Managing Director of Walton Hi-Tech Industries Limited received the trophy and certificate from him.

Meanwhile, Golam Murshed said, Walton is now Superbrand. Earlier, Walton received the best brand award for the sixth time in a row. Walton achieved it due to the trust, love, and support of innumerable buyers and well-wishers in the country. We believe Walton will be one of the top 5 brands in the world by 2030.
