‘Future Thoughts and Action Plans’ webinar at SAU

A webinar titled ‘New administration of SAU: Future thoughts and action plan’ was held on behalf of the Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University through a Facebook page yesterday.

Former education secretary and curator of Bangabandhu memorial museum, Nazrul Islam Khan, Vice-Chancellor of SAU Professor Dr. Shahidur Rashid Bhuiyan, Treasurer Professor Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam and Managing Director of National AgriCare Group KSM Mostafizur Rahman were present in the webinar.

Assistant Professor Abu Zafar Ahmed Mukul moderated the seminar of the day.

Professor Dr. Shahidur Rashid Bhuiyan said, ‘We want to build the university as a more prestigious one through research, expansion and innovative works with a view to achieving academic excellence.

KSM Mostafizur Rahman, however, said that the curriculum of business, information and technology knowledge needs to be included in the syllabus of the university.
