Int’l mother language day cricket tournament at DIU

A three-day (February 21-23) International Mother Language Day T-10 Cricket Tournament-2021 was held at the Daffodil International University’s central playground in the capital.
Shahid Jabbar XI has become the champion in the game organized by DIU Sports Club.
Shahid Jabbar XI defeated Shahid Salam XI by 6 wickets to become the champion in the final match yesterday.
Acting Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof. SM Mahabub-ul-Haq Majumdar distributed prizes among the winners as the chief guest.
The Dean of Academic Affairs of the university Prof. Mostafa Kamal and Deputy Registrar Ishaq Mizi were also present, among others, at that time.
The acting VC said, 'This is our first tournament. We have plans to organize more such tournaments in the future.'
