CoU halts ongoing exams

All the ongoing examinations at Comilla University have been suspended until further notice, CoU Registrar (additional in-charge) Professor Dr. Abu Taher confirmed this on Tuesday.

The decision came from an emergency meeting, after the remarks of Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni over not to holding exams before universities are reopened, attended by the deans and hall provosts, and chaired by Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Emran Kabir Chowdhury.

The university started taking semester final exams of different departments on December 21, last year to negate session jam. But the sudden decision of halting exams creates grudges among the students.
