CoU students for resuming exams

The Comilla University students formed a human chain with various placards on Wednesday protesting the decision of halting exams and demanded reconsideration of the decision made on Tuesday.

The human chain staged in front of the university’s Bangabandhu Sculpture at around 12:30pm on the day.

Earlier on Tuesday, at least 58 semesters’ undergraduate and postgraduate final examinations have been stuck due to the decision of the university to postpone the examination. Students alleged that there was no reason to stop the exams showing health cautious as all the situations were normal everywhere.

Tamimul Ruhul, a postgraduate student in the Marketing department, said, ‘Our undergraduate and postgraduate courses generally take 5 years. But here it takes more than seven years.’

He adds: ‘Who will take the responsibility? The students' dreams are being shattered with the administration’s sudden decision as all are going normal.’
