Webinar on production management held at BUBT

The Textile Club of Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) organized a webinar on “Roles and Responsibilities of a Merchandiser in Production Management” in the evening of July 10, 2021.
The program was streamed live on the official Facebook page of BUBT. Professor Dr. Fayyaz Khan, vice-chancellor of BUBT, was present as the chief guest.
Prof. Dr. Ali Ahmed, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences; Prof. Dr. Rubaiyat Chowdhury, Department of Textile Engineering; Ms. Eshita Datta, Chairman, Department of Textile Engineering, BUBT; spoke as the special guests while Giyas Uddin, Executive, Central Production Department, Four H Group; delivered the keynote speech.
Sadia Mehrin, moderator of BUBT Textile Club, presided over the webinar.
The webinar focused different aspects of RMG merchandising. Speakers emphasized skill development, research, and innovation to face various challenges in the garment sector.
Professor Dr. Fayyaz Khan said that quality control in the RMG sector is extremely important for survival in the global trade competitions.
