Two Daffodil students join virtual UFMG Summer School program

Two students from the Dept. of English and Dept. of Business Administration of Daffodil International University joined the virtual UFMG Summer School 2021 organized by Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, Brazil.

The participants are- Arifur Rahman (English) and Tushar Uddin Rony (BBA). The program was held from July 5 to July 16.

The program was focused on Brazilian studies, and intended to provide students from all over the world an understanding of key aspects of Brazil from distinct perspectives.

This program included lectures by world-class experts on Brazilian studies, lessons of Portuguese for foreigners, online tours, cultural and extra-classroom activities. Participants from 51 countries have joined the summer school program and shared their expanded culture among them.

Bangladeshi participants represented the country through their diverse cultural presentations on this multicultural platform and received academic credits upon their successful completion. With this sort of engagements, DIU students are coping up with different online modules, joining virtual classes, performing globally and fulfilling the assessment criteria with recognition.
