IU professor dies of COVID-19

Professor M Akram Hossain Mojumder of law department of Islamic University died of Covid-19 early Tuesday.
Akram breathed his last on the way to a hospital in the capital at about 12:50am, said Islamic University Teachers’ Association General Secretary Professor M Mostafizur Rahman.
He is survived by his wife and a son, a daughter and a host of relatives.
He was buried at the family graveyard in Cumilla in the morning.
IU Vice-chancellor Professor Shaikh Abdus Salam, pro-VC Professor M Mahbubur Rahman, Treasurer Professor Alamgir Hossain Bhuiya, IU Teachers’ Association, Shapla Forum, Zia Parishad, Bangabandhu Parishad, IU Journalists’ Association and different teacher and student associations expressed their profound shock at Akram’s demise.
