Dr Mahamudul Islam Chowdhury is famous for his friendly behaviors with patients and satisfactory approach to treat them, along with the humanitarian works such as providing free health care to poor patients and orphans.

He also visits homes to treat patients who are bedridden, old, and sick in his area. Dr. Mahamudul has contributed to educate people and spread health awareness everywhere through his Facebook page and YouTube channel.

Millions of people around the world are watching his videos and articles on health education and primary health care awareness on social media platforms.

Dr. Mahamudul Islam Chowdhury is a medical officer of the covid-19 isolation unit of Chittagong General Hospital. When the world needs health heroes to fight against covid-19 pandemic, Dr. Mahamudul Islam Chowdhury devotes himself and shows his courage to fight the battle against the Coronavirus. He treats Covid-19 patients in hospital and private chamber.

Dr. Mahamudul Islam in this connection says, 'Due to lack of general knowledge about common health problems and diseases like gastric, high or low blood pressure, headache, insomnia, heart diseases, liver diseases, kidney diseases, patients suffer a lot. I try my best to educate people about how to relieve common health problems and how to prevent preventable diseases. Thousands of people have become benefited after knowing these health tips in Bangla.'

He likes to write poems and song lyrics in Bangla. Some of his Bangla poems are- protiddondi prembaji, korun roshe probashir ardhangini, boddo valo legeche and ami chattraneta etc.

Dr Mahamudul Islam Chowdhury was born on 21st May 1991 and then raised in Kadalpur, a village of Chittagong district. He was very ambitious from the early age of his life. Later Dr. Mahamudul moved to Sylhet city to fulfill his ambitions as a doctor.

He successfully achieved the "Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)" graduate degree in 2015 from Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College, CCD (on diabetes) and CMU (on ultrasonography). Later he was qualified for BCS (Bangladesh civil service) health cadre and appointed as an assistant surgeon of the Government of the people's Republic of Bangladesh.
