JUST allows Nipun for admission after Risingbd publishes report

The authorities of Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST) have finally allowed that Nipun Biswas, who was unable to get admitted to the varsity due to delay arrival, for the admission.

The decision was taken in an emergency meeting of Deans Committee of JUST on Tuesday (February 01), considering humanitarian aspect and family status of Nipun, with the powers conferred on the Vice-Chancellor (VC) by the law of the university.

The country’s popular news portal Risingbd picked the news first. Later, other media paid focus on the matter and published news over the matter which went viral online, helping JUST authorities to reconsider about Nipun’s admission.

Being informed over chance for admission on special ground, Nipun was excited. He said, “I got a phone call from the university. I am very much happy to hear that I will be able to get admitted tomorrow. I thank the JUST administration for giving me the opportunity.”

“On behalf of me and my family, I would like to thank all the journalists, including JUST students who provide their kind support to me,” he added.
