College student dies as scarf gets tangled in auto-rickshaw wheel

A college student has died after her scarf got entangled in the wheels of a battery-operated auto-rickshaw in Patuakhali Sadar upazila on Wednesday. 

The incident occurred at around 11:30am in the Model Mosque area of Patuakhali town.

The deceased is Ahona Chowdhury Mohona, 18, was the eldest daughter of Md. Rasel Munshi from the Shimulbag area of Patuakhali municipality. 

She was set to appear for the HSC examinations starting at June 30. 

She was a student of Humanity group at Patuakhali Government Mohila College.
