We will resist if country attacked: Army Chief 

Army Chief General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed has said that if the country is attacked by external enemies, it will be resisted. 

He said, “If a foreign enemy attacks our country, we will resist it. We are ready, we will take appropriate measures if the level (situation) goes to the other side”.

The Army Chief also said, "Border Violation is happening, for that we have Border Guard, Coast Guard, they are monitoring the matter."

The Army Chief said this while talking to journalists after hoisting the flag of a brigade signal company under the supervision of Bangladesh Army's 9th infantry division at Sheikh Russell cantonment in Jazira at Shariatpur on Saturday noon.
