Ferry services resume on Shimulia-Kathalbari route after 22 hrs

After nearly 22 hours of suspension, ferry services on Shimulia-Kathalbari route in Munshiganj, have resumed.

The ferry services resumed on limited scale around 6:00pm on Saturday.

Prafulla Chouhan, assistant manager of BIWTC at Shimulia ghat, confirmed the development.

The ferry services were suspended due to erosion at the ghat around 8:00pm on Friday. The services resumed on limited scale around 6:00pm.
