Probe body starts investigation over ex-army officer killing

The probe body formed by the Home Ministry started its activities to investigate into the incident of killing former army officer at Shamlapur in Teknaf of Cox’s Bazar.
The high-profile probe committee held a meeting at Hill Town Circuit House of Cox’s Bazar at 3:30pm on Tuesday. The committee decided to start process of recording disposition and necessary information over the incident.
The meeting began at 9:30am and continued for 6 hours.
Chief of the probe body additional commissioner of Chattogram division Mohammad Mizanur Rahman confirmed this to reporters.
‘We will try to submit the probe report in next 7 days,’ he said.
