Paturia-Daulatdia launch services suspended

Launch services on Paturia-Daulatdia route have been suspended due to inclement weather and strong wave in the Padma River.

Launch Ghat Authority suspended the services since 5:30 pm on Wednesday (August 5).

Panna Lal Nandi, supervisor of Paturia Launch Ghat, confirmed the news around 6:30 pm.

18 launches have been carrying Dhaka-bound passengers on Paturia-Daulatdia route since morning but the launch services were suspended in the afternoon due to inclement weather and strong wave in the Padma River, he said.
