Dhaka’s rail link with Rajshahi resumes

Rail communications of Dhaka with Rajshahi has been restored after seven hours of disruption following the derailment of a freight train in Mouchak Rail Station area of Gazipur.

The service resumed around 8:30am on Saturday.

Station Master of Joydebpur Junction Md Shajahan confirmed the news.

The rail communications was cut off after a bogi of a freight train derailed near Mouchak Rail Station around 1.30am.

Later, a rescue team reached there and restored the rail connection.
