Sporadic clashes in Cumilla UP election, 10 injured

Sporadic clashes took place centering Adra union parishad by-polls at Barura in Cumilla, leaving at least 10 injured and 10 vehicles vandalized.

Supporters of Awami League nominated Tafazzal Topu and rebel candidate Mahfuzur Rahman Selim locked into clash at Kakoirtola polling station before the polls began on Tuesday (October 20) morning.

On-duty police officer at Kakoirtola polling center Sub-Inspector (SI) Naser confirmed the matter.
