Tractor claims lives of three motorcycle riders

Three motorcycle riders have been killed as a tractor ran over them in Habiganj.

The incident took place at Meernagar area on Dhaka-Sylhet highway in Madhabpur of Habiganj around 7:45pm.

Madhabpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Iqbal Hossain confirmed the matter.

The deceased were known as Masuk Mia, 25, son of Abdur Rashid, Jahangir Mia, 26, son of Farid Gazi, and Mannan Mia, 27, son of Suruj Mia of Shahpur area under Madhabpur upazila.

The driver along with the tractor managed to flee after the incident, the OC said.
