Juba League activist hacked to death in Bogura

An activist of Bangladesh Awami League has been hacked to death in front of Sabgram Hat Durga temple of Bogura district town.

The deceased was known as Samrat Das, 27, son of Kalipod Das. He was an activist of Sabgram Union Juba League.

Sadar police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Humayun Kabir said, the victim was wanted in five cases including murder, firearms case.

Primary investigation said that he was killed following internal dispute around 1:00am on Monday. No cases were filed yet in this regard, OC added.
