One held with 18 pieces of gold bar in Satkhira

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have detained a smuggler along with 18 pieces of gold bar weighing 2.14 Kilogram from Kakdanga border in Kalaroa upazila of Satkhira on Wednesday (October 28) afternoon.

The smuggler is Hasan Ali, 42, son of late Kofiluddin from Jashore district.

Satkhira 33 Battalion Commander Lt. Colonel Golam Mohiuddin Khandaker confirmed the news.
