Youth beaten, burned to death in Lalmonirhat

A youth was beaten to death and burned the body in Bandar area of Burimari in Lalmonirhat on Thursday night (October 29).

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Sources said, the youth was beaten mercilessly by locals and they killed him. Later, they set fire to the dead body.

Patgram police station Officer-in-Charge Sumon Kumar Mohanto confirmed the matter.

OC said, “Our senior officers are coming to the spot now. Decision will be taken later.”
